Overview

Ha Long Bay is a beautiful natural wonder near the Chinese border in northern Vietnam. The Bay is dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets and covers an area of over 1,500 km2. This particular area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Ha Long Bay features a wide range of biodiversity, while the surrealistic scenery has been featured in endless movies.

The Bay is the accommodation of many fishing communities, including the 04 communes of Cua Van, Cong Tau, Vong Vieng, and Ba Hang, with more than 1,600 people. The residents live on floating houses and boats, making their own lives by fishing and aquaculture.

Itinerary

Day 1

Your hotel – Tuan Chau Marina - Halong Bay - Lunch – Maze cave – Isolated peaceful lagoon for swimming – Local wine appetizer – Dinner – Onboard night activities

- Our guide will pick you up at your hotel (by shuttle bus or private car)
- Enjoy and take photos of peaceful scenery of the countryside, farmlands, and Red - - River delta during the transit time
- Check in the cruise at Tuan Chau Marina
- Have local lunch in the dining room/ outdoor dining area

Afternoon
- Arrive at Maze cave (hang Mê Cung) and learn about the history of the cave’s name
- Reach the peak point of the cave for a breathtaking panoramic view of the bay
- Chill in a stunning tranquilizing isolated lagoon or relaxing spa service

Early evening
- Watching the sunset and sipping pre-dinner local wine appetizer
- Dine on an authentic Vietnamese menu
- Reward yourself with multiple cocktails from the bar,
- Participate in onboard activities: book reading, games, movies, squid fishing, etc.

Day 2

Tai Chi - Breakfast – Vạn Giá floating fishing village – Cooking Demonstration – Lunch – Farewell at your hotel

- Join a Tai Chi session in the early morning
- Eating local breakfast
- Our guide will briefly share the floating village and its local community.
- Explore the village by kayak or capture the daily life of the locals on a bamboo boat rowed.
- Check out the cabins.
- Join a short Cooking Class to learn making spring rolls

12:30 - 17:00
- Return to the shore and disembark from the cruise
- A private car will transfer you to Vancouver Hotel (No. 01, Lane 75, Luong Van Tuy Street, Ninh Binh)
- Arrival back at your hotel
